ACS SEED Symposium: High School Students Share Their Amazing Chemistry Research

August 19, 2022

Ten high school students presented their summer research at the ACS Project SEED Symposium on August 6th at UCM's new Conference Center.  These ten students did full-time summer research in the groups of different UC Merced chemistry faculty, with projects including "Exploration of Collagen-Mimetic Peptide Functionalization", "Disordered Protein Response to the Cellular Environment", "The Circadian Clock in Cyanobacteria", and "Machine Learning for Different Solvent Models".  Best of luck in all your future scientific endeavors to all the ACS SEED graduates and thank you to Professors Andy LiWang and Andrea Merg for organizing a great SEED experience.
