Two new faculty are joining Chemistry and Chemical Biology: welcome to Professors Aurora Pribram-Jones and Shahar Sukenik! The Pribram-Jones group uses paper-and-pencil work, exactly solvable model systems, and computational studies to investigate the limits and breaking points of modern electronic structure theory, touching on a variety of application areas. The Sukenik lab studies the interaction between proteins and their surrounding solutions in the test tube and in cells using a combination of live cell imaging, spectroscopy, and computational modeling.
