Professor Christine Isborn is PI on a grant for an HPC cluster

UC Merced will get a new high-performance computing cluster from Silicon Mechanics.  Each year, the company has a competition for the award of a high-performance computing cluster, including lots of memory, fast disk, and the latest GPUs.
